It’s better than coffee.  It’s better than a pug snuggled into a blanket.  Even better than getting word that you have a snow day.  Can you guess what I am going to say is better than all of those combined?

It’s EC College Visit Day!

Some of you might be confused as to what that is but fear not!  I am here to tell you exactly what it is and a few reasons as to why you should sign up!

College Visit Day is on Tuesday, April 26th from 8 am to 1:30 pm and is the chance for all students interested in signing up for EC, and those that already have, to experience in its entirety, what a day of EC is really like.  So, without further delay, here are a couple reasons as to why you should come to EC College Visit Day!

Number 1: the classes.

“Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,”

Proverbs 1:5

On Tuesdays, we have three classes: Scripture Sessions, Student Devos, and Life Lessons.  Each class teaches diverse and important material to help your walk in life and your journey with God.

Scripture Sessions are groups of 5 to 6 students that gather once a week to read a passage from a specific book in the bible, share scriptures on their hearts, read faith scriptures, and share the biblical convictions that are assigned for that month. Students Devos are the chance for the students to really share what is on their heart and what God has been speaking to them with nothing holding them back.  It’s their choice of what to speak about and what scriptures they want to share on.  Life Lessons are exactly what they sound like.  If you’ve ever wondered how to manage your time correctly, or work out problems and disagreements in a biblical way, or even if you are wondering how to cheaply and easily make meals on your own, Life Lessons are a time that provide all the answers to those questions and more!

Number 2: Prayer

I would have included Prayer in number 1 but I think it deserves it’s own category.  Prayer is how we start the day off, and there is no better way to start the day.  Each morning after announcements, Pastor Eric or Pastor Erica gives a brief but deep message about what prayer is going to be on that day, opening it up for us to go off on our own in the auditorium to pray in private.

There are many other reasons as to why you should come to College Day.  The people, the atmosphere, the fun!  It can’t be put into words what EC is like, so you’ll just have to come and see for yourself!

Can’t wait to see you there!

Many blessings and hope you have a good day!
