Pastor Eric Giesow
Pastor Eric Giesow serves as the Executive Pastor of EPIC Commission & Prayer at VFC. Pastor Eric, along with his wife Erica Giesow, also serve as the directors of the EPIC Commission discipleship program for 18-24 year-old’s.
Pastor Eric received his ministerial training at RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK, and along with his wife Erica, were ordained through RHEMA Ministerial Association International in 2013. Prior to his ministry training, he received his bachelor’s degree at Northwood University in Midland, MI for Business Management and Marketing. Eric and his wife have two children, Ella and Eli.
Pastor Erica Giesow
Pastor Erica Giesow serves alongside her husband Eric Giesow as the directors of the EPIC Commission discipleship program for 18-24 year-old’s. Erica is passionate about helping college-age students “get-it” and be successful in their relationship with God and life in general.
Pastor Erica received her ministerial training at RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK, and along with her husband Eric, were ordained through RHEMA Ministerial Association International. Prior to her ministry training, she received her bachelor’s degree at Spring Arbor University for English and Secondary Education. Erica and her husband have two children, Ella and Eli.

Avery Marschke serves under Pastors Eric & Erica Giesow as the EPIC Commission Resident Director. His role focuses on housing, finances, and events. He is also the Resident Director over the EC apartment complex. Avery has a huge heart for discipleship and is excited to help college age students grow in their faith.
Avery is a graduate of EPIC Commission and Valley University through Valley Family Church. He is currently enrolled at Western Michigan University to get his communications degree. Right now, Avery faithfully serves in Flex Club, VFC’s middle school age ministry.

Megan Simkins serves under Pastors Eric & Erica Giesow as the EPIC Commission Support Assistant. Her role focuses on marketing, social media, and admissions. She is also the Resident Assistant in one of the EC apartments. Megan is excited to help 18-24 year olds grow in their relationship with the Lord and show them how to live a life devoted to Christ.
She is a graduate of EPIC Commission and Valley University through Valley Family Church. Prior to EPIC Commission and Valley University, Megan attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Currently, Megan faithfully serves in Kidamazoo, VFC’s 1st-4th grade ministry.
The EC Family is one of the best experiences during this program! Coming alongside a large group of your peers all chasing after Jesus makes it hard not to catch fire and run after the Lord even harder! The EC Family are your advocates for the whole journey. It's tough to find another group quite like this one!
